Add it to Shopify
- Generate the draft above and download llms.txt.
- In Shopify admin, open Content, then Files, and upload llms.txt. Copy the file URL.
- Search the admin for URL redirects. Add a redirect from /llms.txt to the file URL.
- Visit yourstore.com/llms.txt to confirm it reaches the file.
A redirect sends tools to a file on Shopify CDN. Most tools follow redirects, but not all. Apps in the Shopify App Store can also serve llms.txt. Our llms.txt checker shows what a tool gets.

What is llms.txt?
A proposed standard: a markdown file at /llms.txt that gives AI tools a short map of your site. It starts with a # title and a > summary, then ## sections that list key pages as links.
Does llms.txt improve AI rankings?
No one can promise that. No major AI company has said it uses llms.txt for ranking. It is cheap to add and gives tools a clean summary if they read it.
How does this generator work?
It reads your sitemap, or links on your homepage if there is no sitemap, picks up to 25 pages, and builds a draft from each page title and meta description. You edit the draft and upload it.
