Some SEO plugins can create llms.txt for you. Check your plugin settings first so you do not end up with two versions. If a plugin serves /llms.txt, it may override the uploaded file.

What is llms.txt?
A proposed standard: a markdown file at /llms.txt that gives AI tools a short map of your site. It starts with a # title and a > summary, then ## sections that list key pages as links.
Does llms.txt improve AI rankings?
No one can promise that. No major AI company has said it uses llms.txt for ranking. It is cheap to add and gives tools a clean summary if they read it.
